We redesigned Vermont South Neighbourhood House’s digital presence and integrated Social Planet, equipping their team with an accessible website that simplifies community course enrolments and reduces daily administrative friction.
The Challenge
The dedicated team at Vermont South Neighbourhood House was spending excessive time managing manual registrations due to an outdated website that was difficult for locals to navigate. This digital barrier made it challenging for community members of all abilities to find and sign up for vital programs, while pulling staff away from their core mission of face-to-face support.
Our Approach
Working alongside their team, we co-designed a clean, welcoming website built around accessibility to ensure every community member can find information effortlessly. We integrated Social Planet directly into the platform to create a seamless, automated booking system, while providing hands-on training so the staff can confidently manage and update content independently. Our focus was on stripping away digital complexity, leaving the team with a practical, robust tool that enhances community connection.
The Outcome
Today, Vermont South Neighbourhood House has a modern, accessible hub that has significantly reduced administrative workloads and eliminated booking friction. By automating their enrolment process, the team is now empowered to spend less time on paperwork and more time delivering impactful programs for their vibrant local community.
