Strengthening Together For Equality & Respect—modernising the brand and Strategic Plan for clarity, cohesion and accessible communication.
The Challenge
Together For Equality & Respect needed a refreshed brand that reflected where the initiative is today and presented a consistent, inclusive message. Materials had become inconsistent over time, and the previous visual style didn’t fully meet current accessibility expectations. The Strategic Plan also needed to be clear and engaging—something people would actually use—not just a long PDF. The solution had to be budget‑conscious and simple for the Women’s Health East team to apply in‑house.
Our Approach
We started with a discovery session to understand audiences, design needs and key messages. From there, we evolved the visual identity to be clearer, more accessible and easier to apply. We then designed an engaging, WCAG‑informed flexible toolkit, including:
Refined colour palette, accessible typography and clear hierarchy
A series of graphics styled to suit the fresh look
Strategic Plan PDF with logical reading order, alt text guidance and strong contrast
Document templates for consistent rollout of the new brand
The Outcome
The refreshed identity is welcoming, credible and accessible. The Strategic Plan is clear, skimmable and easy to share, with graphics and diagrams that help people understand priorities and actions at a glance. Consulting the brand guidelines, the Women’s Health East team can now create consistent materials quickly, reducing reliance on external support and improving turnaround times. Early feedback has been positive, and the toolkit can be scaled over time.
